Hello dear readers! Apologies for my lack of posts this week… As I type this, I am on the beaches of Ibiza, Spain. I wish I could say I was here doing research for the magazine (a girl can dream, right?), but I am actually here on a long-planned vacation with my family. I am soaking up the Spanish sun, but also loads of inspiration–after all, Spain is the home of bridal designers like Pronovias, Rosa Clara, and Aire Barcelona. Style and fashion abound in this country! Expect to see some Spanish-influenced posts when I return.
In the meantime, I have a beautiful formal portrait session to share with you all from Brittany Cascio of Cascio Photography. The couple, Megan and Taylor, had many of their formal portraits taken at the Utah State Capitol, a gorgeous Salt Lake City location for bridals and groomals, and one that is often overlooked (take note, brides-to-be!). Megan, donned a chic Vera Wang gown from Alta Moda Bridal–altered with sleeves–and carried a lovely bouquet designed by Andi Saxton of Andi Saxton Event Planning and Design. (And Megan wore the most darling heels! I want a pair!)
Congratulations Megan and Taylor! Thank you Brittany of Cascio Photography for sharing these images!
I will be back from Spain the first week of June, and I will hit the ground running: Along with some fun and inspiring blog posts you won’t want to miss, the first issue of Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom will be hitting newsstands in mid-June, and you will definitely want to get your hot little hands on a copy! More to come when I am back in the States! Get ready for an exciting summer!
