I think I was a southern gal in a past life. I love ribs and red velvet cake, I love boots and horses, and every now and then I speak with a slight twang (I don’t know how or why it emerges, but it does). I have never traveled to the south (unless layovers in the Atlanta airport count), but I think I would feel right at home in that neck of the woods…on a front porch, in a rocking chair, sipping sweet tea.
Today’s featured bride–Hailey–is a gal after my own southern-wannabe heart. For her bridal/groomal photo shoot with her hubby-to-be Jordan–captured by Jessie Alexis Photography–Hailey channeled a southern, vintage vibe to match the theme of her wedding.
The results are charming–as you’ll soon see–but the most charming detail is that Hailey’s dress is the same dress her mother, Lynette, wore on her wedding day. Lynette, a master seamstress, handmade the dress for her own nuptials, and when it came time for Hailey to wear it, she spent hours revamping the frock for her daughter. Sweet, huh? Hailey designed her own bouquet for the photo shoot, and Kaitlynn Graham at Studio 210 in Orem created Hailey’s pretty hairstyle.
Congratulations Hailey and Jordan! Thank you Jessie Alexis Photography for sharing this bride + groom photo shoot!
Have a great weekend, y’all!
