Happy Fashion’s Night Out day! How will you be celebrating FNO? Will you be attending the festivities at Fashion Place Mall? Or maybe heading up your own evening shopping spree in downtown SLC, in the 9th & 9th district, or on Main Street in Park City? I’ll be doing my part by stopping by Nordstrom: I’ve had my eye on a pair of lace-up/fold-down cognac leather boots for some time now, and I think tonight’s the night to make them mine! You can rest assured I will make my contribution to the cause.
In honor of FNO, today we’re bowing our heads to the king of high fashion: Karl Lagerfeld. Most days you’d likely find Lagerfeld–dressed in his signature black neck tie, fingerless gloves, and dark-as-night sunglasses–designing dreamy dresses and chic tweed suits for Chanel. But lately, he’s been pulling double-duty creating a wallet-friendly collection for Impulse at Macy’s.
When we heard this exciting fashion news, we of course ran right out to our nearest Macy’s (there are six locations in Utah, FYI) to check out and try on the Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse threads. And we are happy to report there are plenty of stylish pieces to satisfy your Chanel cravings. Seeing as we’re in the business of weddings, we’ve picked our favorite pieces from the collection for brides and/or bridesmaids–you could wear these garmets to engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, dress fittings, cake tastings, you name it!
I think my favorite piece in the collection is the second dress: the black sleeveless dress paired with the white collar just screams Chanel! Chic! Karl! In fact, maybe I’ll be making two purcahes in honor of FNO tonight…how about you?
What do you think about the Karl Lagerfeld and Macy’s collaboration? What’s your favorite piece from the collection? And what are you FNO plans? Fill us in below!
