Bridal Market Fall 2012 Collections – Trend Focus – Illusion Necklines and Illusion Backs

Good morning fashion fans! On this fine fall Thursday, Mara Marian-Harwood of Events By LMG is back to share another hot bridal fashion trend from last week’s Bridal Market: Illusion necklines and illusion backs–a trend we love!

From Mara:

Illusion necklines and illusion backs took the Bridal Market runways by storm. The 2012 collections included an array of gowns that offer the perfect balance of sexy and sophisticated.

An illusion neckline combines a skin-baring bodice with a sheer fabric overlay extending from the bust to the collar. In some cases, the illusion neckline continued onto the back details of the gowns.

These illusion silhouettes are the perfect fashion-forward way to show some skin without baring all:

Thank you, Mara, for sharing this emerging bridal fashion trend!

Brides (and grooms), what do you think of this trend? Would you wear a gown with an illusion neckline or illusion back?
