Fit For a Queen: Are Floral Crowns The Next Big Bridal Hair Trend?

She wore flowers in her hair…or should we say, she wore flowers crowning the top of her head? Maybe it’s our desire for spring to arrive or maybe we just want to channel our inner Lana Del Rey (my current girl crush), but one thing’s certain: We’ve noticed full, lush floral crowns topping the tresses of some very stylish ladies as of late, and we have to wonder if we’ll soon be seeing this trend blooming atop the heads of brides and bridesmaids, too. (Hey, even the gals at Glamour have their eyes on this emerging trend.) Are floral crowns the next big bridal hair trend?

Check out the following style stars rocking the floral crown look:

Singer/fashion muse Lana Del Rey–love her or hate her, the girl knows how to make a style statement

Blogger Tavi Gevinson wearing a crown of pink petals at the Rodarte Fall 2012 runway presentation; French singer and actress Josephine de la Baume donning a crown of poppies at the Lacoste Fall 2012 runway presentation

If you’re digging this trend, you can easily recreate the look for your wedding day by fashioning some fresh blooms together. Or, you can forgo the fuss of fresh blooms in favor of a ready-made floral crown like these pretty hair adornments from ASOS, ban.do, and Twigs & Honey:

So, lovelies, what do you think of this floral crown trend? Would you wear a floral crown for your walk down the aisle? Or would you dress your bridesmaids’ tresses with fresh blooms? Love or hate this look, we want to hear your thoughts–let the comments begin!
