Real Weddings: Submission Details + Deadline for the Summer/Fall 2012 Issue

It feels like just yesterday that our winter/spring 2012 issue hit newsstands, but we’re already knee-deep in planning our next edition: the summer/fall 2012 issue of Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom. And you know what that means: We’re looking for Real Wedding submissions!

Have you recently worked on a wedding you think would make a fabulous feature? Send it our way! We’re looking for city, country, and mountain weddings that excite, inspire, and inform. Summer, fall, spring, and winter Utah weddings from 2011 and 2012 are all game. To submit, please follow the directions listed below.

How to submit:

  • Email a link to a blog post or online gallery to view photos from the wedding, or email a batch file of 20-25 low-res photos from the wedding to tessa {at} saltlakebrideandgroom {dot} com.
  • Please include a variety of images: photos of the bride and groom, venue, flowers, food, decor, tabletop, invitations, favors, and details, details, details.
  • Please also include a short, single paragraph description or a brief list of the event details and highlights, AND a list of all the vendors who participated in each wedding submitted.

The deadline to submit Real Weddings for consideration in our summer/fall 2012 issue is Monday, April 2.

Please note:

  • We will not feature weddings that have previously been featured in other local or regional publications. We will consider weddings that have been featured on national and local blogs, however exclusive content will be given first priority and is always preferred.
  • If you are submitting a wedding to our magazine and other media outlets at the same time, please state this in your submission.
  • All Real Wedding submissions must be approved by the bride and groom. We will not feature weddings without a couple’s permission and cooperation.

Questions? Leave a comment below and we’ll get back to you asap.

We look forward to seeing your Real Wedding submissions!
