Trend Report: Alta Moda Bridal Shares the Top Four Trends from the Spring 2013 Bridal Collections

Illusion necklines, long lace sleeves, thigh-high slits–by now you’re probably familiar with these bridal fashion trends from the fall 2012 collections. Well, just when you got comfortable with the idea of covering up your arms or showing off your legs, Hilary Anderson of Alta Moda Bridal is here with us today to share the scoop on the newest trends from the spring 2013 bridal fashion runways. Get out a pen and a pad of paper, and take notes–these are four new trends you won’t want to forget!

Take it away, Hilary…

Bridal market is one of our favorite times of the year. The best designers innovate with new ideas and refresh the classics. This season, you’ll see returning trends like beaded belts, textured skirts, and lovely lace, but you’ll also find new, key trends that appeared at New York Bridal market last week. They are: Silver (we love seeing a fresh, cool shade enter into play), Boat Necklines (always a classic!), Cap Sleeves (a trend we’re sure Utah brides will devour), and Sexy Backs (leave your guests with a lasting impression).

Thank you Hilary and Alta Moda Bridal for sharing this spring 2013 bridal fashion trend report!

  1. Hilary says:

We’re so excited about the new trends. They feel fresh and classic.

  2. I love that sleeves are back, they are sweet, chapel ready and will prevent thumb-hooking! They are so prettily done in these examples above. The gorgeous, intricate backs are also very exciting. I can’t wait to see what my brides choose for the upcoming season.
Thank you Hilary for sharing these photos.

We’re happy to see sleeves make a comeback, too, Jenifer!
