Get the Look: 6 Bridal-Inspired Styles from Cannes

If Sundance is the rugged, indie darling of film festivals, then Cannes is the sexy, femme fatale. While North Face parkas, Ugg boots, and beanies are de riguer in Park City, glamorous evening gowns, stilettos, and mega-jewels are fashion musts for celebrities and socialites in the French Riveria. At this year’s Cannes Film Festival, May 16-27, stars like Eva Longoria and Diane Kruger have walked the red carpet dressed in gowns suitable for a walk down the aisle, strutting their stuff in shades of white, cream, blush, pale blue, and red (all the better for showing off a bronze glow). Be inspired by these six movie-star styles for your own moment in the spotlight.

1. If you like Diane Kruger in Giambattista Valli couture, you’ll love this diaphanous blue wedding dress by Romona Keveza.

2. If you like Eva Longoria in Marchesa, you’ll love this frothy, full-skirted gown from the designer’s fall 2012 bridal collection.

3. If you like Fan Bingbing in Elie Saab Couture, you’ll love this regal high-neck, long-sleeve lace wedding dress by Claire Pettibone. Find it here: Gateway Bridal.

4. If you like Ines de la Fressange in Lanvin, you’ll love the sleek one-shoulder styling of this Pronovias bridal gown. Find it here: The Brides’ Shop.

5. If you like Bérénice Béjo in Louis Vuitton, you’ll love this vibrant red ballgown from the Vera Wang spring 2013 bridal collection.

6. If you like Eva Longoria in Emilio Pucci, you’ll love the deep v-neckline and figure-hugging silhouette of this slinky Jenny Packham frock. Find it here: Alta Moda Bridal.

I love the first dress! The blue would be perfect! I see white, ivory, and some light pinks in bridal shops, but I’ve never seen blue. Just gorgeous!
