Trend: Pastel Perfect
Every spring we’re treated to a selection of sweet, pastel-hued goods, but this season we’re seeing sugary pastel pinks, purples, blues, yellows, and greens popping up everywhere, from dresses and dishware to throw pillows and nail polish.

We blame Louis Vuitton for the current pastel craze: For the French fashion house’s spring 2012 presentation at Paris Fashion Week last fall, designer Marc Jacobs wowed the crowd with a spectacular white carousel spinning round and round with models dripping in sherbet-hued threads.
For your wedding, get the look by wearing a blush pink gown with baby blue heels, a sweep of lilac shadow on your lids, and a coat of mint polish on your nails. Or, consider a pastel color palette for your cake, invitations, table linens, and flowers.
