Move over LBD, there’s a new party dress in town: The LLD (Little Lace Dress). At least so say the folks at Watters, the Dallas-based wedding fashion company. For fall 2012, Watters is launching a new line of dresses: Encore, a collection of “perfectly polished lace dresses perfect for a rehearsal dinner, exit dress, or just a girl’s night out.”
The idea with Encore is to provide brides with a stylish little number for every event before and after the wedding. We think the flirty frocks look equally suitable for a city hall or courthouse wedding, or as bridesmaid dresses, too. The LLDs come in a variety of styles and six different colors; silk versions are available for gals who don’t love lace.
The price point is $250-300. In our neck of the woods, the Encore collection is available at Mary’s Bridal in Salt Lake City. The gowns are set to arrive in late August.
We haven’t seen the gowns in person yet, but we fell in love with the Watters silk charmeuse gown we featured in the “Party of Two” fashion feature in our new summer/fall 2012 issue (pick up a copy if you haven’t already!), so our hopes are high.
If you get to the LLDs before we do, let us know what you think!
