At bridal market last spring, designer Anne Barge debuted a new line of wedding dresses for the upcoming fall 2012 season: Blue Willow Bride. Good news for all you Beehive State brides: We just received word that Alta Moda Bridal will be carrying the new gowns! Samples are set to arrive at the boutique in September. (Never to early to schedule an appointment, ladies!)
According to the team at Anne Barge, Blue Willow Bride was “designed to reach out to a broader audience of bridal fashionistas.” The gowns retail between $1,900 and $2,500. Styles range from boho-chic to elegant, and incorporate imported non-silk fabrics, laces, and beading.
“The Blue Willow Bride is sensibly modern, earthy, and a touch trendy, but with a familiar feel,” says Hilary Anderson, owner of Alta Moda Bridal. She says she was drawn to Blue Willow because the dresses feature a couture finish at a great price point. “The dresses have a soft, romantic look while still flattering curves.”
