From the Runway: Matthew Christopher Fall 2013

If you’re the kind of bride who dreams of having a wedding reception on a ranch with rustic farm tables, burlap runners, and mason jars filled with wildflowers, Matthew Christopher probably isn’t the bridal designer for you. If, however, a downtown ballroom full of crystal chandeliers, opulent floral arrangements, and tables dressed with luxe linens sounds more like your speed, then Matthew Christopher is right up your alley.

For Fall 2013, Matthew Christopher continued his modern take on classic, Old Hollywood style, showing dresses with glamorous details like feathers and crystals in trumpet and short, retro silhouettes–gowns fit for a screen siren. His form-hugging dresses highlight voluptuous curves and create shape on slender figures–a win-win for brides of all sizes.

The only accessories needed for one of these dresses? A diamond sparkler, rich red lipstick, and a killer pair of high heels.
