Gold Rush: Fashion-Forward Bridal and Engagement Shoot by MANICPROJECT

Sometimes, all that glitters is gold. Take, for example, this fashion-forward bridal and engagement shoot featuring local couple (and recent newlyweds!) Jess Reese and Paul Garbett. Jess envisioned a high-fashion concept for her bridal and engagement photos (think more Vogue, less Brides), and editorial-style photographer Phillip Istomin of MANICPROJECT was just the guy for the gig.

For the shoot, Jess wore a curve-hugging sequined gold dress with long sleeves and a front-slit silk skirt by DVF Diane Von Furstenberg. We love her fresh look, from head to toe–she dressed her tresses with a floral crown of baby’s breath, and chose strappy gladiator sandals for her bridal footwear.¬†Paula Dahlberg provided hair and makeup. Not to be outdone in the fashion department, Paul is every inch the dapper groom in a slim fitting Zara suit, skinny black tie, and black Ray-Ban specs. The couple’s photo shoot took place in studio and on location at the new(ish) Natural History Museum of Utah, a sleek venue for contemporary nuptials.

See? Gold, glittering, and gorgeous. Congratulations Jess and Paul! Thank you Phillip for sharing this bridal/engagement shoot with us today!
