From the Mag: Emerald-Themed Tabletop Designs

In celebration of St. Patty’s Day, we’re sharing some extra snaps by Barrett Doran Photography from our emerald-themed tabletop feature in the current issue of Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom. Titled “Emerald Aisle,” the feature spotlights two tablescapes inspired by Pantone’s Color of The Year. Did you know emerald green is a symbol of harmony, hope, luck, and love?

First, Andi Saxton of Sego Event Planning & Floral Design dreamed up a rich, elegant table with Art Deco flair. She chose a palette of emerald green, gold, and bold black and white stripes paired with gilded details like a painted branch chandelier, hand-painted succulents, gold-rimmed dishware from RSVP Party Rentals, and accessories from Michele Dunker Interiors. Pink Piggy Design created custom chevron-patterned paper goods, and Fairytale Events and Cakes by Julie whipped up individual fondant cakes with shiny sunburst motifs.

Second, Carrie Parker and Lori Hulbert, sisters and co-owners of White Ginger Events, designed a lush tabletop inspired by Salt Lake’s verdant spring landscape and one of the state’s most popular outdoor activities: cycling. The duo gave bike rims and bike chains the Midas Touch, then incorporated the gold-painted items throughout their tablescape. Romantic flowers, delicate linens, whimsical paper goods by Polka Dots & Daisies, petitie vanilla cupcakes from Mini’s Cupcakes, and a lemon poppyseed and vanilla fondant cake with gumpaste flowers and modeling chocolate “stems” by Layers Cake round-out the fresh, playful design.

You can see more photos and read the full details of these two tabletop designs in the pages of the current issue of Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom magazine. Thank you to all the vendors who contributed their talents to our tabletop feature!

Happy St. Patty’s Day, friends!
