Bridal Beauty: Spring 2013 Hair + Makeup Trends from NYFW

We’ve been keeping an eye on the latest hair and beauty looks to emerge from the spring 2013 collections at New York Fashion Week, and all signs indicate that pastel makeup, deep side parts, and crimped locks are going to be huge in the coming months. For all you brides craving a pre-wedding makeover, or all you gals tired of your current ‘do and beauty routine, these fresh styles are sure to inspire a whole new you.

Trend: Pastel Eyes + Nails
Baby blue lids at Tibi and pistachio-hued manis at Rebecca Minkoff–what’s not to love?

Trend: Technicolor Tresses
Peter Som‘s colorful locks are so playful and fun, we can’t resist wanting to give them a try–though, as a bride, you might be better off rocking a temporary version of this style for your bachelorette party rather than your big day.

Trend: Deep Side Parts
It seems deep side parts made their mark on nearly every runway at New York Fashion Week. We like the look best when accompanied by blow-dried tresses a la DKNY or pulled back into a chic chignon a la Altuzarra.

Trend: Headbands
Models at Erin Fetherston looked darling with deep side-part ‘dos and side-swept bangs topped with zipper-detail headbands.

Trend: Waves + Crimps
Could crimping be making a comeback? (gasp!) Only time will tell, but the styles seen on the runways, from Thakoon‘s crimped strands to Jason Wu‘s slick wavy bobs, looked modern and sleek–no poufy 80s-era perms here.

What do you think of these new beauty trends? Would you rock baby blue eyeshadow or technicolor tresses for your walk down the aisle?
