Sneak Peek: Angel Rivera 2014 Bridal Collection
Take a look at two of the designer's new sketches for New York Bridal Week
Like so many bridal designers, Angel Rivera has been hard at work crafting his newest crop of wedding gowns set to debut next month at New York Bridal Week (aka Bridal Market). According to Rivera, his collection-in-the-making features regal, elegant, and romantic gowns fit for a modern-day princess. Today we’re taking a peek inside Rivera’s sketch book and sharing two fresh designs from his 2014 collection.
Rivera’s first design is a pleated, draped ball gown made from Italian silk-satin with opulent beading along the neck—we picture this dress sweeping through the hallways and ballrooms of the Grand America and the St. Regis Deer Valley. The second design is a double-faced silk organza one-shoulder gown with a soft ruffle detail on the neckline and down the back—we see this dress gently floating through a garden celebration held at Tuscany, La Caille, or Red Butte Garden.
We’ll have to wait until October to see what other designs Rivera has up his sleeve, but you can view more of his current bridal collection here.
