Runway Report: The Best New Wedding Gowns

Check out some of our favorite bridal styles and trends from the fall 2017 and spring 2018 bridal collections.

Trend: STARS

STARRY NIGHT
Designers were seeing stars as celestial-themed gowns emerged on the runways. Get star-struck in local designer Natalie Wynn’s bell-sleeved gown (pictured above), a dreamy dress from the newly launched collection by Savannah Miller (fun fact: her sister is actress Sienna Miller), or an embroidered sheer cape from Alexandra Grecco’s aptly named Stardust collection.

Trend: BOWS

TIE ONE ON
Bows are back and bigger than ever. The feminine accent can be modern as seen at Carolina Herrera, sexy a la Sareh Nouri’s peony-pink gown, or delicate as shown at Julie Vino. Shop Sareh Nouri at Bitsy Bridal.

LIKE A LADY
Ensembles inspired by ’60s-era style icons like Audrey, Jackie, and Twiggy made a splash on the runways. Get the look in Anne Barge, Randi Rahm, or Yolan Cris. Shop Anne Barge and Yolan Cris at Alta Moda Bridal Boutique.

Trend: CAPES

CAPED CRUSADERS
We can’t all be royalty, but you can at least dress like a princess bride with the season’s slew of capes and capelets. From cropped to sheer to embellished styles, channel your inner royal highness in a design by Peter LangnerGemy Maalouf, or Francesca Miranda.
